On the 9 June 2015 a 46 year old Wootton man was arrested after a warrant was issued when he failed to appear at Forster Local Court on the 20 May in relation to a drink driving matter which occurred on the 6 May.

The male was taken to Taree police station where he appeared before the magistrate the following morning.

He was disqualified from driving for 9 months and a fine of $700 was imposed for the mid range drink driving offence.
