ON Tuesday 11 May, the Woolgoolga Neighbourhood Centre are celebrating Neighbourhood Centre Week by holding an Aboriginal Cultural and Information Day for the Coffs Coast’s Gumbaynggirr community.

The day will include a Welcome to Country with Aunty Debbie and Uncle Leo, as well as cultural performances, dance and a Smoking Ceremony.

A workshop about community involvement will be run by the Bularri Muurlay Nyanggan Aboriginal Corporation (BMNAC).

Music on the day will be provided by One Mob Radio.

The Lions Club Woolgoolga will be supplying the barbeque for the event.

Information stands will be on offer from Ready Mob, NSW Police, Abcare, Uniting, Aboriginal Employment Support and more.
