A DEVELOPMENT application for a 23-unit industrial complex at Woolgoolga which will extend the town’s existing industrial precinct, has been lodged with Coffs Harbour City Council. The application for General Industry (Construction of 23 industrial units in 2 stages) is estimated to cost $700,000 and was lodged with Council last month by applicant Henlow Properties Pty Ltd. The proposed site for the industrial units is located at 2 Tonnage Place, Woolgoolga, off Solitary Islands Way just south of the existing industrial area and next to the new residential subdivision Woolgoolga Beach Estate. It is proposed to undertake the construction of the 23 new industrial bays over two stages, with Stage One consisting of eleven bays and Stage Two twelve bays. The lots are to be consolidated into one lot as part of the development. Hours of operation by future tenants are expected to be from 7am to 5pm.
