Woman, 54, hit by bus at Anna Bay Nelson Bay (Tomaree Peninsula areas) by NOTA - February 15, 2017 Inquiries are continuing after a woman was hit by a bus at Anna Bay this yesterday. About 4.15pm (Tuesday 14 February 2017), emergency services were called to the Gan Gan Road after a woman was hit by a bus. The 54–year-old woman was in the process of crossing Gan Gan Road just prior to the collision. The exact circumstances are still under investigation. The bus driver stopped after the crash. A random breath test was conducted at the scene with the bus driver returning a negative result. The 54-year-old woman was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with serious injuries.
