The Hunter Region player won the First Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10421, drawn Tuesday 27 October 2020.

The winning entry of 1-random number was purchased at Tanilba Bay Newsagency.

“I went to the newsagency to buy the newspaper, and I heard a lady there saying someone had won $100,000,” said the winning player.

“I thought ‘oh that lucky person!’

“But then she said that the prize hadn’t been claimed yet and I knew I had some tickets to check.

“So I got the newsagent to check mine and sure enough, I was the winner.

When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the winner held no hesitation.

“I would really like to go on a few holidays,” he said.

“Once the borders open up, I am sure we will be doing lots of travelling!

“I will share some with my family as well.

“There’s a few little toys I’d like to get myself too.”

Tanilba Bay Newsagency employee Michelle Sheather said the outlet couldn’t be happier for their winner.

“We are so excited! It’s such an awesome prize for our winner.

“We were so pleased when we found out, and we are even more thrilled that he’s a local.

“We have been waiting for another major prize win! We usually sell one every two years.

“We’d love to send our congratulations to our winner! We really hope you enjoy your prize and it’s turned your 2020 around in the best way possible,” said Michelle.
