WESTPAC Helicopter Wills Week Fundraiser Comes to Medowie, Raymond Terrace and Tea Gardens

The WESTPAC Rescue Helicopter in our skies.

FOR many getting their affairs in order is something that can be put off for another day.

However, during Wills Week we are reminded that having a valid will can save a great deal of difficulty for those left behind when we pass away.

If you have been putting off writing your will there’s now an even better reason to take time out now and get your affairs in order.

The WESTPAC Rescue Helicopter is all about saving lives, but to do this they need funds.

There is rarely a week that goes by without Port Stephens and Myall Coast residents seeing the rescue chopper in our skies.

That means that someone locally is in need of urgent medical assistance, assistance that comes at a cost.

Locally the teams from David A Vitnell Lawyers in Medowie and Purcell & Mount Solicitors and Conveyancers in Raymond Terrace and Tea Gardens will be taking part in the WESTPAC Rescue Helicopter Wills Week Fundraiser.

Wills Week is made possible through the generous support of solicitors who donate their time to ensure that 100% of your booking fee is donated to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and will be taking place from the 22-26 March.

Wills Week is a great opportunity to have a fully qualified professional solicitor in your local area establish your first Will or update an existing one.

The cost is $125 (1/2 hour appointment) or $225 (1 hour appointment) for a couple to have a simple Will drafted.

100% of the fee charged goes directly to the WESTPAC Rescue Helicopter and saving lives in our region.

As a part of planning for your Wills Week appointment, you will be provided with useful information about how you can leave the legacy of a bequest to support the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service and help save lives into the future.

The Office of the NSW Trustee and Guardian tells us that a Will is “A legal document that provides instructions on who inherits your estate, who will be the guardian for your children, and who will be the executor of your estate when you pass away.”

To participate in the WESTPAC Helicopter Wills Week Fundraiser book your Wills Week booking online at www.2021 Wills Week – Rescue Helicopters or call 1800 155 155.

The process includes an opportunity to outline what you would like in your will prior to your appointment.

Enabling your solicitor to pre-draft your Will document for you to review at your appointment.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service does not have any access to the information contained on your Wills Week Instruction Form or details you place in your Will.

All information remains strictly confidential between you and your solicitor.

Bookings are essential and close 26 February.
