They purchased a site at One Mile Beach with guest cabin accommodation and have been working to build a centre which offers a place of safety, peace, and harmony where you can find balance and tranquillity.
On 7 October between 9am and 2pm the centre will hold an open day showcasing the activities, services and opportunities that the new development presents to Port Stephens.
The property is nestled amongst five acres of native melaleuca rainforest and established gardens.
There is a central billabong, large outdoor undercover areas, yoga room, treatment and consultation rooms as well as onsite accommodation.
Boasting six treatment rooms, spaces to relax before and after treatments, an Infrared Sauna, Floatation Tank , and an Oxygen Bar, the centre offers new and innovative options in wellness to Port Stephens locals and visitors.
The Oxygen Bar is a real experience that one has to try to experience the benefits.
It is undertaken seated in a comfortable chair inhaling oxygen infused with aromatherapy therapeutic oils.
Floatation Tanks are well known as a treatment which creates a calming and relaxing experience.

The private nature of the Wellness Centre provides a tranquil, safe and discrete environment for both residents and visitors to Port Stephens.
Clients of the centre can refresh, recharge and reconnect with a range of holistic services and retreats available.

Mark McDougall told News Of The Area “this centre is a place where you can relax, re-energise, refresh and escape today’s fast paced lifestyle.”

He believes that it is important to be able to find help and access services in a private and discrete way.
“The centre offers services which can assist people to improve their wellness and explore holistic treatments” he said.

A range of therapist and practitioners operate from the Wellness Centre specialising in holistic therapies and support services such as Remedial Massage Therapy, Naturopathy, Nutrition, Kinesiology, Reiki, Mindfulness and Mediation, Life Coaching, Personal Training, Gut Health, Herbal Medicine and Zen Shiatsu alongside classes and workshops in various disciplines of yoga and even an African Drumming Circle.
General public are invited to attend the Open Day.
Guests will also be able to experience the tranquil gardens and their calming energy, participate in yoga, drumming, Tai Chi demonstrations and art workshops, learn about upcoming retreats, grab exclusive open day offers, and much more.
