Around 50 stallholders will be turning up to the first market back, and entertainment will be provided by Errol Gray who will delight the crowd with great Aussie songs and humour. Marine Rescue Woolgoolga will run its famous BBQ stand, offering tasty sausage sandwiches, vegetarian sausage sandwiches, and bacon and egg rolls for breakfast. Market coordinator Susie Robson said everyone was really excited for the return of the popular market. “Everybody’s really keen, everybody around town is really excited and can’t wait for the markets to start again, because they haven’t had anything in the area for so long,” Susie said. “We are all really excited about it and raring to go, and we thank the community for their support again, the community is a great support to us.” Susie said she’d had a good response from stallholders wishing to sell their wares at the upcoming market. “We’ve got a very good response to it; we’ve got quite a few new ones (stallholders) coming on board as well, which is great,” she said. Products on offer at the market include food, jewellery, plants, childrenswear, dog accessories, essential oils, swimwear and much more. The Woopi Beach Market will be held on the second Saturday of every month, with an additional market to possibly be held on Sunday 27 December. Interested stallholders can contact Susie on 0431 077 578. A COVID-safe plan will be in place for the market on Saturday 12 December. By Emma DARBIN
