MidCoast Council has announced tightened water restrictions for Stroud and Stroud Road, as water storage levels drop. The town is now on Very High water restrictions, with sprinklers and irrigation systems banned and outdoor watering using a hand-held hose, limited to ten minutes, every second day.

The rest of the MidCoast region continues on Moderate level restrictions, with outdoor watering limited to one hour, every second day. All outdoor watering is only permitted before 9am or after 4pm.
