Paco Lara migrated to Australia in 2017 from his home in Jerez in Southern Spain, the heartland of flamenco. He has toured internationally alongside some of the best artists and maestro legends of flamenco in Spain and is the vanguard and foremost musician of contemporary flamenco fusion in Australia. Paco Lara has enjoyed recent successes at the Sydney Opera House, at the Adelaide Guitar Festival and has toured this year with the immensely popular Andalusian Guitar Show. Paco Lara told News Of The Area, “After kicking off the Duende Tour in Byron Bay, Bowraville Theatre will be the second performance of the tour and we are looking forward to bringing a piece of Southern Spain to the Nambucca Valley.” Duende promises to be an entertaining and uplifting show with Lara’s flamenco guitar mastery showcasing his talent at the top of the Australian contemporary music and performance scene.
