Nearly 600 athletes took part in the first Hawks Nest Triathlon, competitors ranging in age from 13 to mid 70’s. The event comprised 4 different distances, Standard, Sprint, Enforcer and Enticer. It also kicked off the 2016 -17 series for Triathletes across New South Wales and Victoria. Local volunteers played a big part in the success of the Hawks Nest event. Their contribution also paid off financially with organisers donating to the not-for-profit organisations who gave of their time and energy.
