The township of Karuah has experienced an increase in tourism visitation and the BIG4 karuah Jetty Holiday Park have commenced various development projects over recent years to keep up with demand for the destination.

The large holiday park is regularly booming with tourists and holiday makers, with its busiest time of year coming up over the Easter long weekend and school holidays.

There’s abundance of activities to keep all the family entertained in between relaxation periods, with two in ground saltwater pools, one which is equipped with a children’s mini fun water park.

For those who like their sports, and to stay active there is a tennis court and volleyball court situated within the grounds.

Children will have no time to be bored, whilst their not splashing around in the pool, they can play on the fenced off playground, jumping pillow, bike hire or games room.

For those of you that are very keen at fishing, there is a tidal boat ramp, a very generous size jetty, with a floating pontoon and mooring available.

Upgrades commenced back in 2012 and are ongoing, including installation of new garden units and family villas, new ensuites, new camp kitchen and refurbished amenity blocks.

More recently work has commenced on resealing of a residential road, and the visitor carpark, which is situated at the rear of the function centre.
