Mitch Evans, School Captain.

“I stood for school captain so that I could be a voice for students and advocate for those with less confidence to speak up.

I like being a leader and I’m unafraid to be the voice and support other students.”

Ellie Wagland, School Captain.

“I have been part of the student forum since year 7, so school captain was a natural progression. I have also assisted with

school fundraisers and functions. Being a school captain has certainly improved my leadership skills.”

Jessi Ballard, School Captain.

“I have always wanted to inspire people and hope I can be a good example for fellow students. I would also like to make

changes where they need to be made within the school.”

“It’s great to be on the same level as the teachers as we all want the best for the school.”

“For me, being school captain is a stepping stone to something bigger. The past two days I have been delivering

motivational speeches to the younger students and my long term goal is to travel throughout the schools to motivate

students to show your past is not your future.”
