Time is running out to get your unwanted items to the curb for the household bulky goods collection

 

THE times remaining for the Nambucca Valley to put their unwanted items out to the curbside for the household bulky goods collection are as follows:

May 24: Macksville CBD and North Macksville

May 31: Macksville East and South West, Gumma

June 7: North Macksville, Bowraville, Newee Creek, Tewinga, Congarinni North, Wirrimbi

June 15: Scotts Head, Way Way, Warrell Creek, Donnellyville

June 21: Taylors Arm, South Arm, Utungun, Allgomera, Eungai, Tamban, Congarinni

Acceptable items for collection: Carpet/lino (Household), Freezers, Mattresses, Fridges, Metal guttering, Dishwashers, Household items of metal construction, Aluminium frames, Soft furnishings and Non-recyclable household items.

Not Acceptable items for collection: Liquid waste materials, Domestic food waste, Gas bottles and oil heaters, Tyres, Plate glass and Mirrors, Building materials, Hazardous materials including paint and asbestos, Medical waste material and Recyclable materials.

A maximum of three cubic metres will be collected from each residence.

Please ensure you place your general household waste and scrap metal waste in separate piles.

Do not exceed 1.5 metres in length for any materials left for collection.

Place your items on the kerbside no sooner than the weekend before your collection date.
