IN the case of two local families it’s a matter of one door shutting and another one opening.

For Geoff and Judy Camm, retirement means hooking up the caravan and becoming grey nomads as they explore the outback tracks.

For the extended Bree family a great business opportunity has presented itself whereby  they can expand their tyre service into an automotive workshop.

Stephen Bree puts it this way: “We will be continuing to give the top quality service that Geoff and Judy provided over such a long time.”

“The business will now be known as ‘Tanilba Bay Tyres & Mechanical’ and we have new ideas to broaden the range of services. Why not drop in and check us out?”

Meanwhile, it is with a tinge of sadness that Geoff and Judy Camm are retiring after 27 years.

“We will both miss the everyday contact with the locals. There does come a time however when the body tells you that it can no longer do what it used to,” Geoff said.

“We will do a bit of travelling around the country and may very well venture overseas some time down the track.”

“We give our heartfelt thanks to our loyal customers who have stuck with us over the years and trust that they will give Steve and his team the same support.”

Judy said that the couple have no plans to move.

“Lemon Tree is our home. The people are great and we are involved with just so many community groups. I can’t imagine living anywhere else.”
