Or media@newsofthearea.com.au “The biggest challenge is just learning to find time for yourself and we haven’t had much sleep in the last year either,” she said. “But we definitely wouldn’t change a thing, whenever we’re feeling down, the boys always make us smile.” For Katie and Phil, their demanding daily routine starts before 6.00am each morning when the boys wake up. “It’s three lots of breakfasts, three baths and three bottles, it’s actually pretty exhausting,” Katie said. “But Grace is a really good big sister and she is more than happy to share mum with her brothers.” Katie, who can tell the triplets apart most of the time, said the boys have a lot more in common than just their appearance. “They are happy, smile a lot and are adventurous as well,” Katie said. “They have similar personalities and they tend to be a little cheeky and funny, a bit like us actually,” she added. Katie told News Of The Area they have been blessed to have the help of their family and friends. “The triplets are beautiful, healthy little boys and we have been fortunate to have so much support,” she said. “We thank our family for all the love they have given us, we’re really grateful for it.” The triplet’s birthday celebrations will continue this weekend with a party and get-together with the extended family at Mungo Brush. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, of the 295,393 births registered in Australia in 2014, there were only 65 sets of triplets or a higher multiple, representing just 0.02 percent of all births. These figures have remained fairly consistent over the past decade.
