Forster resident and long-term library member Ted Fitzgerald recently turned 100 years old. Ted Fitzgerald and Chris Jones As part of his 100th birthday celebration, Ted kindly decided to donate the sum of $500 to the Library. The library has increasingly become an important part of Ted’s life, especially since he has had to cut back on more strenuous activities. Ted felt he just wanted to give something back to a service that means a lot to him. ‘We really appreciate Ted’s donation’, says Library Manager Chris Jones. ‘What a great way to celebrate such a milestone. We’ll make sure the donation goes straight towards some new books for the new library.’
