ZONE Active owners, operators and Head Coaches Kate and Valeriy Martynov are keeping families active and healthy in the Tomaree Area.

Both Kate and Valeriy are passionate about their family and purposeful health focused business, providing a supportive and fun environment with passionate dedicated instructors for the whole family.

Zone Active at Taylors Beach is more than just a gym and fitness centre.

It is a community, a place for families to enjoy and pursue an active and healthy lifestyle together.
Embracing exercise and creating healthy living habits is the essence of the centre whilst offering a range of activities to engage the whole family in movement and exercise..

Activities available at Zone Active include dance lessons known as the Bay Dance Academy, trampoline and tumble, Cross Fit, Yoga, Active Kids Birthday Parties and School Holiday Fit Camps for children during the school holidays.

The fit camps are held during the school holidays offering an alternative care and engaging fun experience for children. The day is filled with all of the activities Zone Active has to offer and includes all clean eating healthy snacks and lunch throughout the day.
These school holidays, camps were run at a cost of just $50 for the day per child for the entire day.

Due to their success, these camps will hopefully be run every school holidays.

When asked about the motivation behind her growing established business Kate told News Of The Area,  “We want to positively impact and inspire families to be engaged in healthy and active lifestyles – We just love what we do.”

“Children leave our centre happier and we see kids engaged in active lifestyles that increase their self esteem and confidence, developing positive mind sets and improved energy levels,” Kate said.

The Zone Active Team most recently visited The Sydney Gymnastics and Aquatic Centre with their team taking part in the State Level Championships.
Mindi Morris, 9 years old, won a Gold Medal in Level 2 Trampolining.

This was an amazing achievement and proudly supported by her entire team and the community at Zone Active.

Mindi told News Of The Area, “I love how much I learn at Zone Active and I always leave feeling so happy after being there!”

Zone Active commenced Term 4 on October 10.
