Tuesday, 7 June: We had twenty bowlers attend on a very windy and fairly cool day.
The format was two games of triples and one game of fours.
The strong breeze certainly made bowling a bit of a challenge.
The winners overall with the highest score were Kerry Faber, Bev Stephens and Dale Winter.
They had a mighty win with a score of 31 – 8.
Sadly I was in the losing side.
Thursday, 9 June: There were only twelve bowlers on the green today.
There were a few beanies sighted too.
Winter must be just around the corner!!
The format was three games of pairs.
The winners with the most shots plus ends were Bev Stephens and Deyonne Page.
Just a reminder that the office bearers nominations for 2017 should be in by 20 June, prior to our AGM on 6 July
The Veterans Day takes place on 17 June, that is always a fun day.
The Ruth Bowden Trophy Day is coming up on 30 June.
