TUESDAY 25 January: Social bowls played three games of three bowls Triples, 18 ends.

All games tell the same story, the winners started strongly, led all the way and won by a convincing margin.

On Rink 8 Lyn Nightingale (swinger lead), Dawn Jones and Deyonne Page defeated Lyn, Bette Saillard and Judy McGavock by 13 shots, 25 v 12.

A massive victory to Francis Betar, Ingrid Luck and Pat Baker 36 v Sheila Rattray, Dot Dallas and Robyn Webster 9.

A win for Sheril Johnson, Dawn May and Karen McPhie 19 v Judi Polak, Wendy Brand and Dale Winter 12.

The winners on the day winning with the highest margin were Francis, Ingrid and Pat. Deyonne Page took home the raffle prize, many thanks to The Garden Eatery for donating the prize.

Thursday 27 January: Two games of three bowls Pairs and a game of Triples, 12 ends bowled.

The score on the 7th end was 7 all, Francis Betar and Karen McPhie against Lyn Nightingale and Pat Baker after Lyn and Pat stagnated, Francis and Karen amassed thirteen points over the next five ends winning 20 to 7.

Bev Rhodes/Lynne Green and Deyonne Page sixteen proved to be too strong an opposition for Judi Polak and Bette Saillard 4.

Deborah Gardener (new player), Jill McBride and Lynda Richards had a win 16 v 11 against Sheril Johnson, Neryl Grehan and Ingrid Luck.
