The trio recently gathered with friends at Tea Gardens’ Mumm’s Restaurant to celebrate Peter ‘the young ones’ 80th birthday. The ‘terrific trio’ have been friends now from over 20 years, and admit they get up to mischief. But you could never say that these men have spent their retirement sitting on the couch. Peter McKay and Barry Whiteman were instrumental in getting RSL LifeCare involved in Peter Sinclair Gardens. “Barry and I drove them mad until finally they accepted,” Peter told News Of The Area. That was a decade ago, and the Aged Care Facility that started off as Myall Lodge can now house more than 60 residents.
