Tea Gardens Police Charity Golf Day raises $5,800 FEATURED Sport by NOTA - October 21, 2014October 22, 2014 THE intermittent weather didn’t stop the 110 starters for the recent Police Variety Fundraiser event, held at the Hawks Nest Golf Club. The success was attributed to the generosity of local businesses according to Police Office Senior Constable Dave Coyle. “It wouldn’t have run for the seventh year if it wasn’t for the support of the local businesses,” he said.
