Rehearsals are almost complete, the stage has been set up, and the actors are ready to entertain the audience.

Tickets have been sold out for the first two performances on the 12 and 13 October, with some tickets still left for Friday the 14th as well as Saturday matinee and evening show on Saturday the 15 October.

The residents of the Elder Shelter Retirement Care Village, including Chrissy Cross, Ima Whining and and Seriousse Noall are ready to have a whinge, while the management team of Mr. Headnob, Ms. Butkiss and Nurse Payne are looking forward to running the village like a prison.

The outcome of the play is anyone’s guess, according to Allan Wilson – the writer of the play.

Being an ex police officer, Allan has seen the good and bad in people throughout his career, which has influenced his choice of characters in this comedy.
