The winners on the lowest margin were; Dale Winter and Graeme Watkins. The jackpot was not won and will now stand at $420.00 for next week. A semi-final round of the Club Triples Championship was played today with the team of; Bob Skewes, Ray Sullivan and Mark Hair taking advantage of the great conditions to play; Richard Lee, Paul Syron and Sean Mearrick. In their previous round the Mark Hair team overcame some very stiff opposition to reach the semi-final. They disposed of the strong Steve Pell unit 24-13 and it was felt that if they could retain that form they would be in with a chance against the fancied Sean Mearrick side. It was not to be! They went down 12-27. 23 July. Conditions were atrocious for bowls today with the second semi-final of the Club Triples Championship being played.
