THE new bowling calendar opened today with fine summer weather and 55 eager players cramping on to the synthetic green in teams of four and one team of three.

The morning game was decided by the ‘Lowest winning margin’ and with a margin of three, Rick Islaub, John Moore, John Payne and Roman Bondaruk were the winners.

The afternoon game was decided by the ‘Highest winning score’ and Greg Smith, Peter Campbell, Noel Jackson, and Dave Perry won with a score of seventeen.

The Garden Eatery voucher was won by, guess who, Lucky Kev Barbie.

He has started the year off well.

Our thanks and appreciation to the Garden Eatery for sponsoring this voucher again this year.
