As part of the distribution of funds from the Police Charity Golf Day, of which the profits are always returned to the local Community, the donation is for use by the Community.

Tea Gardens Librarian Carol Johnson, thanked the event team and those who supported the event.

“The donation would be quickly put to use by library staff for the benefit of the community, especially during the school holidays,” Carol said.

Local resident Norman Webber said, “It could also be used for sporting events, including cricket.”

The next Police Charity Golf day will be held at the Hawks Nest Golf Club on Friday 17th October and with a 9am shotgun start.

To play, call Andrew McCormack at the Pro Shop on 4997 0740.
