Hosted by the Tea Gardens Hawks Nest Motor Club, Juergen Seil told News Of The Area, “It takes a twelve month Action Plan to put it all together.” The local Motor Club will once again be welcoming at least 45 NSW Motor Clubs as well as numerous individual Motor Enthusiasts. “Many visitors arrive on the Friday and stay till Sunday,” Mr Seil said. “Most local businesses are looking forward to some good activity and many have generously sponsored this local event.” Recently the local Motor Club did win the MidCoast ‘Community Activity of the Year’ Award. “The Club is proud of having achieved this after, now staging ‘Motorfest’ every year since 2003.” Mr Seil said, “The dedicated Executive Committee are all eagerly awaiting this forthcoming ‘Motorfest’ where many interesting vehicles from the past will be on display.” “Most of us will have owned or driven in one of these in the past.” Official opening will be at 10am on Saturday the 9 March by State and local Council Representatives. “‘Moterfest’ is a Community Aid Event Day to generate funds for local Beneficiaries who receive insufficient funding from the State Government,” Mr Seil said.
