This is the first year that the event has been part of Love Seafood Festival.

Live Jazz will be on three stages at the Bay while there will be plenty of great food and wine on offer.

Among the bands performing festival goers can hear Pocket Jazz, Hot Potato, Fish Fry and many more.

Enjoy Pocket Jazz as they perform everything from fast Coltrane to classic Sinatra swing, this six piece band specialise in a range of Jazz styles.

Their unique spin on songs like Wonderwall, Get Lucky or Careless Whisper are crowd pleasers.

Also performing are The Djangologists who deliver blistering fast tunes, velvety ballads and everything in between Djangologists regularly play the Manly and Newcastle Jazz Festivals.

Newcastle and The Hunter favourites Fish Fry are crowd pleasers for their jump-jive Jazz, swing, rhythm and blues repertoire.

Their energy, excitement and legendary musicianship has earned them a loyal following.

Tastes will deliver a festival marketplace of 70 stalls throughout the Nelson Bay Town Centre.

There’s a fun Father’s Day prawn peeling and oyster shucking comp for Dad’s, a Jazz Luncheon Cruise, fine Hunter wines and much more.

Local restaurants are offering special Love Seafood dining offers.

Tomaree Business Chamber President Leah Anderson told News Of The Area, “We are hoping to see everyone come to Nelson Bay, to support the local businesses, and to enjoy the great lineup of entertainment at the Love Seafood Tastes at the Bay Festival.”
