The Coffs Coast’s annual 16-day film and screen celebration will be presented by Ashton Designs in partnership with TAFE NSW, Southern Cross University, and Coffs Harbour Secondary College

“Festival goers are going to have so many new programming options” said SWIFF Festival Co-Director David Horsley.

He added, “There is a huge event space out  the front of the theatre which will include a space for live music, a beer garden, and filmmaker guest Q&A sessions.”

New upgrades to CHEC’s main theatre will give visitors a state-of-the-art cinematic experience.

SWIFF audiences will be seated in what will be the festival’s highest capacity venue yet, at 350 seats.

The full line-up of exciting events is yet to be announced and will be the same world class entertainment as at previous festivals at the Jetty Memorial Theatre.

According to Mr. Horsley, “The festival will roll into CHEC from Thursday to Sunday each week of SWIFF, for 8 packed days of world-class entertainment, eye-popping cinema, unique experiences and more.”

The Closing Night Gala and afterparty, SWIFF’s annual finale, will end the festivities on a high note.

The new SWIFF venue will also provide mentorship and industry experience opportunities to a  number of students from all three educational institutions.

The full festival line-up for SWIFF will be announced in 2021 at the SWIFF Preview Gala, with a number of events, film passes, and gift vouchers already on sale at www.swiff.com.au.
