Steve is self taught and this may be the reason his style is unique with incredible attention to detail. His subjects vary from buildings to boats as well as animals and birds. He uses varying thicknesses of waterproof pens. Recently he has started experimenting by adding some colour. Steve has books and books of his drawings but did not start exhibiting until he came to Nambucca five years ago and joined the Stringer Gallery where he regularly hangs his paintings. He has also exhibited his works in the Gallery at Macksville Agricultural shows and had a combined exhibition recently at the Matilda St Gallery in Macksville with Keir Jamieson, Heidi Lambiris and Sha- lohm Jamieson. Steve’s exhibition is titled ‘Black and White’ and will be launched on Tuesday 4 October at 10.00 am with a morning tea. Everyone is welcome. The exhibition will continue until Monday 31 October. Also on display in the Gallery for October and November is a feature exhibition titled ‘Portraits’.
