Along with MidCoast Council’s Ageing Services team, stallholders will include Baptist Care, Estia Health, Meals on Wheels, Commonwealth Respite, Alzheimer’s Australia, Carers NSW and, RSL LifeCare. ’We will offer information on our retirement living at the Grange, our Residential Care at Peter Sinclair Gardens and home care,” Julie Woolard, Village Manager at Tea Gardens Grange said. Australian Hearing and Community Transport will also be on hand. “We want to reach out to the people who don’t know about us, because there are still people in town that don’t know we exist,” Sharon Hooper from Community Transport told News Of The Area. We provide transport for the aged, for the disabled with their carers. “We transport people to their medical appointments, doctors, hospital appointments, outings, shopping and we also transport the disadvantaged because there’s no buses.” “Community transport is there for those who can’t drive, or don’t drive and for those who have a local licence only,” Sharon said.
