Students will have the option of studying Dance at HSC level as well as a host of other classroom and dance club opportunities. The BDC Dance Studio is being constructed adjacent to the Branson Centre and the Roger Oates Centre. Construction fences have been erected and X-Corp has started the build. A construction timeline of 11 weeks is expected, meaning the Dance Studio will be ready for use by students for Term 2. Dance is an integral part of everyday society and Bishop Druitt College will provide opportunities for all students to express themselves through the components of performance, composition and appreciation. Highly qualified and experienced staff will complement the Dance courses and facilities and it is expected that Dance will become yet another attraction point for BDC.
