We encourage our loyal supporters to come along and say ‘Thank you” to Diana. A new Music Director will take up the baton from Diana as from 1 April, 2017. The concert is held to say “thank you” to our seniors and to celebrate their contribution to our community. It is always a relaxed, fun event and includes a short “singalong” section. This year there will be some Gilbert and Sullivan songs, a medley from the “Mamas and Papas” , an Australian selection and some English folk songs – a mixed bag to suit all tastes. Afternoon tea is also provided. Registration is required, because seats are limited to 100. Your place can be booked by calling Jeanette on 49846483 before 10 March. Although there is no entry fee as such, the choir is asking for a gold coin donation at the door, as no funding was received from the State Government to stage this year’s concert. The choir encourages residents over the age of 60, to come along, sing with us, make friends and think about joining the choir to continue their interest in music on a year round basis.
