Last month Hawks Nest Tea Gardens “Scape” went on the road, to visit the YWAM (Youth With A Mission) ship currently in port at Newcastle.c

Seventeen teens boarded the bus in Tea Gardens and inspected the ship that conducts medical trips to Papua New Guinea.

The ship has an operating theatre, treating simple infections as well as more complex medical procedures.

There was music, dancing and singer/comedian Matt Purcell motivated the attendees and told them they can be the change they wish to see.

“Scape” meets fortnightly at the Anglican Church in Witt St, Tea Gardens, starting at 6.30pm.
