WHAT a difference the sun makes.

Twenty five ladies arrived with big smiles on Tuesday 7 June at Safety Beach golf course to play the July Monthly Medal round.

How exciting.

The course was in really good condition, a very welcome change.

Best Gross and division 1 Nett winner was Marian Brading 92/75 nett, runner-up Merryl Kyburz 77 nett, division 2 winner Laurie Pilon 77 nett, runner-up Lex Bailey 78 nett, division 3 winner Merrin Wingfield 75 nett, runner-up Diane Canham on c/b 81 nett. Medals went to Marian Brading division 1, Lexine Bailey division 2 and Trish Hill division 3.

NTP 4th Trish Hill, 7th Marian Brading, 9th Yolly Gallacher and 11th Carole Stone. Merryl Kyburz and Jan Weilly shared the winning putts score, 26 putts.

Tuesday 12 July is our Breast Cancer day so make sure you have something pink to wear on the day and due to earlier postponement, we are planning on conducting our Open Day on 19 July.

Make sure your nomination is in.

Our very social 9 hole Wine Run is playable over the week although strongly contested on Friday afternoons and the driving range is a great way to get extra practice for the upcoming club Championship rounds.

Pro Terry is ever-willing to offer lessons to sharpen your game prior to these very important rounds.
