The game of the day on Tuesday 17 October at Safety Beach golf course was President V Captain and President Leanne Clark and her team won the day.

The wind was still causing a bit of grief but the ladies enjoyed the competition. Overall winner was Jo Elwood with a good 40 pts, runner-up Robyn Brindle (who is also playing very good golf) with 38 pts, 2nd runner-up Captain Kerry Slater 35 pts followed by Marilyn Ely 34 pts.

Grafton’s Jacaranda Festival week is approaching as is our Melbourne Cup Day Medley 3 Person Ambrose with a 8.30am shotgun start on Tuesday 7th. Ladies get your husband/partner to come and join in this fun day and bring a plate to share after the game while watching the running of the ‘race that stops a nation’. See you on the course.
