They include: Invest in the Port’s CBD, businesses and economic future by revitalising Nelson Bay through infrastructure investment and increased parking. Invest in the Port’s roads, paths, parks and community facilities with new connections to schools and bus stops, while improving the area’s sporting facilities in order to attract more major events. Increase investment in social, health and youth community programs to help fight domestic violence and support the most vulnerable, the youth, the disadvantaged, and those affected by mental health issues.
