Rotary offer 1 in 500 chance to win a Toyota Yaris FEATURED MidCoast LGA (overall news) Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest by NOTA - June 23, 2015 The Rotary Club of Myall Coast and Burton Family Toyota have initiated what is hoped to become one of the largest fundraising events in our area thanks to some forward thinking and great support from one of the region’s largest motor dealers. Norm Burton of Maitland and Port Stephens Toyota with Rotarian Ian Mackenzie-Smith The combined effort will see valuable funds raised in a first for our local Rotary Club with a brand new Toyota Yaris being the grand prize in a raffle that we all hope the community will support through simply buying a ticket. There is a limit of only 500 tickets to be sold at $50 each which will give everyone much better odds of being drawn as the winner. The odds of winning a new car don’t get any better than this. Raffle Tickets went on sale this week with the winner to drive away in a Toyota Yaris 5 door Automatic. This fabulous prize includes 12 months rego, a 3 year warranty and the first 6 services capped at $130. As a generous option to the car, the winner may choose instead, to take a cash prize of $13,000.00. Kim Burton from Burton Family Toyota said, “As a long term resident of Pindimar I have always held the area close to my heart and when approached by the Rotary Club of Myall Coast I saw an opportunity to support the community in a positive way.” Ian Mackenzie-Smith of Rotary said, “There are a large number of worthy organisations in our community and Rotary is proud to support as many of them as their finances allow.” Rotary President Paul Dewar “These funds have been derived from the Club members’ considerable efforts in fundraising through the two Book Sales and up until now, the Christmas Raffle.” “This collaboration with Burton Family Toyota takes us into the future of fundraising with an undertaking larger than we have previously attempted.” Tickets are available from Rotarians or by phoning Jim on 0409467272 or Paul on 0439485097. So get on board a great local initiative and buy a ticket before they’re gone, remember the money all comes back to our community. Thank you Rotary and Burton Family Toyota for supporting our area.
