It will also help connect local communities across the region and reduce ongoing maintenance costs. The work has been delayed because the original contractor was unable to proceed. Council is currently evaluating alternatives. A 40kph speed limit has been left in place due to the poor condition of the road. This work is part of MidCoast Council’s Capital Works Program and is funded by the NSW State Government.
