The festival will be opened at 10am by Port Stephens Mayor Ryan Palmer, and an Indigenou welcoming ceremony will be performed by Tarryn Roche to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land. A series of performances will entertain the crowds, including Thou Walla drumming group, Dance Extreme, United Dance, Dance of life Belly dancing, Mei Walker cultural dance, Celtic choir and harp, Zumba with Belinda and Shane and the Raduga Trio. The Raymond Terrace Bowling Club auditorium will host the Irish dancers-Voyage of Irish dance and the Raymond Terrace has Talent contest (ages 7-18yrs). Jacaranda Avenue will showcase the Gym 21 display, roving belly dancers and free twisted animals by The Balloon Guy. Workshops will be running all day with Drumming on Jacaranda Avenue, Soul Fire Circus skills on the Rectory Grounds and a Dream catcher workshop, Photogram workshop and Art heroes workshop on Jacaranda Avenue. Jumping Castle and Face painting will be in the Rectory Grounds, and there’ll be clowns and other amusement rides on Jacaranda Avenue.
