THREE local newspapers later, Port Stephens and Myall Coast people are seemingly loving their local News Of The Area publication.

With a real twist on current and previous media within the Port Stephens and Myall Coast region, the News Of The Area brand operates within individual communities rather than lumping one large regional paper across the area. It’s like a local Facebook network in Print.
Plus (talking of online) our Social Media sites are very active and engaging. We have a Facebook Media site for each of the papers/communities.

The news website has high regular and new traffic too.

Writers all live in the area (they write for) which gives a real outcome of passion, care and commitment to the community they are representing.

The small media company is locally independently owned by a Raymond Terrace family and not one of the large multi-national media giants.

Our business model allows for so much more extremely local content to be published for each of the communities we operate.

Myall Coast News Of The Area was first, then came the popular Medowie & Tilligerry News Of The Area, closely followed by Bay News Of The Area.

We are now considering opening a Raymond Terrace News Of The Area, which will complete the entire Port Stephens LGA covered.  This together with the lower MidCoast LGA (with Myall Coast News Of The Area), will give readers and advertisers a choice of ‘their own local area’… or people are able to access the whole FOUR publications if they wish.
