These include, but are not limited to; Christmas gift wrapping, driver reviver, Seaham Carols, selling cakes and puddings, feeding the firies, community barbecues, ‘host the diggers’ dinners and Youth Of The Year. Bob is a past district Governor of Lions, and a life member of Lions International. He was awarded an OAM for Community Work in the Queen’s Birthday honours for 2017. He added, “We are thankful to everyone who joins us to volunteer, and also our respective partners for encouraging and supporting the time we spend on Lions activities.” The Raymond Terrace Lions meet twice a month at the Raymond Terrace Bowling Club, on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm except for Christmas time, and their barbecue in January.
