National Rugby League players Connor Tracey and Brett Greinke and ex-players Roy Asotasi and Beau Champion held a workshop at the school. The children were taught about the five key areas to a healthy lifestyle, ‘Eat Well, Play Well, Drink Well, Brush Well, and Stay Well.’ “The kids have been fantastic,” Rabbitohs player Brett Greinke said. “Any time you go out to communities like Karuah, the kids are always really excited.’’ “They love Rugby League, and it’s great to see the partnership between Souths Cares, Colgate and the South Sydney Rabbitohs help teach these kids to look after their teeth as well as having a healthy lifestyle.” The “Bright Smiles” campaign is designed for children aged three to nine years, and brings dental hygiene to life through ‘Dr Rabbit and the Tooth Defenders.’ It also helps to build self-esteem and create lifelong habits of brushing twice a day This year the program has seen the Rabbitohs players take their message of good oral health to more than 20,000 children across New South Wales.
