Protected Cropping Australia Conference 2022 comes to Coffs Harbour

The conference includes a full day of farm tours, which includes visits to innovative berry and vegetable growers in the Coffs Harbour region on March 31.

PROTECTED Cropping Australia (PCA) is Australia’s peak industry body for greenhouse and hydroponic growers.

Organisers would like to invite interested community members to the bi-annual Protected Cropping Australia Conference (PCA2022) being held at Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour from 28-31 March 2022.

PCA2022 is an opportunity to connect with likeminded people driving protected cropping in Australia.

“Attending the conference will enable you to share new experiences and advancements in knowledge and practice, catch up with suppliers and connect with other growers in the industry,” said PCA2022 Conference Chair Emily Rigby.

The four-day conference includes a mix of keynote speakers and breakout sessions based around major industry concerns and interests such as pollination, water use, technology, pests and disease management, medicinal cannabis and the berry sector.

Students will also have the opportunity to present their research projects.

There are more than 60 speakers presenting at the conference so it will cover an enormous amount of up-to-date information and research, plus 62 exhibitors in the Trade Show.

“A highlight for many delegates is the full day of farm tours, which includes visits to innovative berry and vegetable growers in the Coffs Harbour region on March 31.

“We understand there has been a lot of uncertainty around travel, however we remain committed to hosting PCA2022.

“We are all well overdue to catch up, however if you are unable to attend in person there is an online registration option available.”

Are you a busy grower and don’t have time to attend the full conference?
“Then take advantage of our special complimentary Grower Training session on Monday afternoon or Trade Show only passes designed specifically for growers.”

Places are limited for these options so if this interests you, please contact fiona.c@asnevents.net.au.
