Other activities included the Japanese Gardens/Cathedral Cave Tour in Wellington, guided tour of a Phosphate Mine with dinner at Kelly’s Irish Pub in Mudgee. Day four, our group visited the Honey Bee outlet followed by a wine tasting at Peter Van Gent then a sumptuous Wine and Cheese Tasting for lunch at Logan Winery whilst taking in the magnificent landscape from the winery verandah. On the final day, our enthusiastic group had the opportunity to visit the Museum in Gulgong followed by lunch at Gerards Place in Denman arriving back into Tea Gardens later in the afternoon. As Vice-President of this wonderful Club, I was delighted to witness first hand the ethos of Friendship, Fellowship and Fun being displayed throughout the entire four days and it is this ethos that has made our club an outstanding success.
