Ella Oldham from Medowie Public School, for assisting a lady with her shopping. Ella helped push her trolley, and packed her groceries, as she noticed this lady had arthritis. Dakota Rae from Grahamstown Public School, for supporting our annual ‘Grand Friends’ day, by leading activities with enthusiasm and commitment. Jye Auld from Seaham Public School, for an act of honesty. Jye bought something from the canteen, and received too much change. He noticed and returned the money back to the canteen voluntarily. Taylor Burgess from Irrawang High School, nominated for her commitment to the Irrawang High School Creative and Performing Arts faculty, and her professionalism and talents in photo media production that celebrates the achievements of so many students to the community. Kyle Hoffman from Raymond Terrace Public School for displaying respectful behaviour and sportsmanship in the community at recent touch football gala days. Stanley Emanuel from Karuah Public School, for always displaying respect at school and in the community. Stanley is often observed in the community using impeccable manners and being a responsible citizen. Alexander Pankhurst-Smith from Irrawang Public School, for the respect that he demonstrated for the local environment. Alexander used his own initiative and collected rubbish around the local area, and disposed of it properly on his way home from school. Hannah Avery from Hunter River High School, nominated for her knowledge and dedication to future farming in Australia. Hannah maturely expressed her ideas on the SBS program ‘Insight’, where she spoke confidently about farming and incorporating traditional Aboriginal ways of farming the land in Australia.
