THE Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) program is back in full swing and this week the award winners were presented with a goodie bag and their certificates at MarketPlace Raymond Terrace. Email us – media@newsofthearea.com.au Similarly, Ben Hillock of Salt Ash Public School was recognised for his efforts in assisting younger students during the ANZAC parade, ensuring they were safe at all times and for his efforts at the Captain morning tea. Raymond Terrace Public School’s Brayden Reynolds was recognised for being a proud student of Raymond Terrace Public School and being well spoken and polite to other community members. Grahamstown Public School’s Chloe Doolan was nominated for regularly volunteering her time to assist younger students during playtime, displaying initiative and care whilst supporting children, including those with disability. The community was hit hard by the fire at Thou Walla Family Centre and Irrawang High School’s Christine Higginbottom received her award for her excellent organisational skills in helping to coordinate a student fundraiser for Irrawang Public School and the Thou Walla Family Centre. Jaxson Dobe of Medowie Public School was nominated for supporting students and staff at school by being kind, considerate and helpful. Seaham Public School’s Miah Laver was recognised for her outstanding support of a kindergarten student as part of the Seaham PS buddy program. Nathon Bray of Karuah Public School was awarded for helping his sisters clean up the toy area in the local op shop.
