The much-anticipated fireworks show will light up the night sky at 9pm.

Mayor Leah Anderson expressed her excitement about the event, saying it’s the perfect opportunity for the community to celebrate the year gone by and embrace the New Year.

“We’re thrilled once again to host this iconic New Year’s Eve celebration, thanks to our major sponsor, McGrath Port Stephens,” said Mayor Anderson.

“The stunning backdrop of Nelson Bay, combined with the vibrant atmosphere, makes it a truly unforgettable experience,” she added.

The event is sponsored by McGrath Port Stephens.

Daniel O’Meara from McGrath emphasised the importance of celebrating community through events such as this.
