Members of the Probus Club of Port Stephens are currently enjoying a raft of activities and one of the most popular is the BBQ.

The incoming BBQ Director, Tirrel Graham with the assistance of Christine turned on perfect weather for the 59 attending a recent get together.

Ann Gibson of the Probus Club of Port Stephens told News Of The Area, “The members at the grill took on the roll as ‘Master Chefs’ and did a great job on the perfect steaks, tasty bangers and onions.”

Special guest was “Macca’s” super friendly granddaughter Abby who welcomed members as they arrived, offered to carry chairs and was a media star on the microphone.

In the same week nearly 40 Probians from the club participated in the Fun Golf and Putt Putt Day at David Grahams at Anna Bay.

“This included five junior Probies who will line up for induction in about 50 years! ,” she said.

Upcoming on the Club’s activities list is a mixed social bowls day, a deep-sea fishing boat excursion to Broughton Island and an Excursion to Maitland Gaol and Maitland Art Gallery.
