The judges had a hard time scoring, but they all used their tried and true methods News Of The Area were told. Each entry is read by a First Stage reading panel. This panel is comprised of men and women from a variety of backgrounds. The Panel then meet with the Awards Coordinator in a “round table” discussion. Each story is voted on. The top 20 go through to the next level judging. This level is comprised of 3 judges from professional backgrounds. These Judges independently score the stories and a ranking is determined. All stories are read as anonymous documents where the only person to know who has submitted a story is the Awards Coordinator (who isn’t a Judge).
